For over 20 years, Patricia Michaels has been producing one-of-a-kind haute couture that transcends cultures and defies fashion trends. Patricia’s groundbreaking participation as a contestant on the national “Project Runway” was a major episode in her career. Her participation paved the way and garnered national awareness and recognition for Native designers. Patricia Michaels was the first Native American person to pass the rigorous talent screenings to earn a spot on Project Runway, where she earned a spot in the semi-finals. Patricia is also an accomplished jewelry designer, operatic set designer, and fabric artist.
